The annual feast, which started in , takes place in more than 34 cities in Texas and Mexico. An announcement from H-E-B made ahead of the celebrations say the traditional in-person event is on hold for another year. However, throughout November and December, H-E-B's Feast of Sharing will donate more than , meals to 18 food banks and provide monetary contributions for more than 45 hunger relief groups in Texas. H-E-B is also working with food banks and non-profit groups to give meals from its mobile kitchens, as well as holiday gifts and H-E-B Meal Simple dinners.

The Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner, a community dinner event serving San Antonio families since , is also sticking with its pandemic-era pivot this year.
